Common Questions
What is "safe capacity"?
Electrical codes in Malaysia require that continuous loads not exceed 80% of a circuit's rated capacity. We apply this same principle to your panel — your safe usable amperage is 80% of the panel rating.
Where do I find my panel amperage?
Look at your distribution board (DB box) — the main breaker or switch at the top usually shows the amperage rating (e.g., 60A, 100A). If unsure, our electricians can inspect it for free.
Is this calculator accurate for Malaysia?
This tool uses 240V single-phase wiring standards used in Malaysia (standard TNB supply). Appliance amperage ratings are typical estimates — actual ratings on your specific appliances may vary.
